Versatile and well drafted. The pattern is a great skirt as is or can be easily used as a base for custom designs and pattern extensions. I recently made one for my daughter and she was asked if her skirt was a Celine! Was this helpful?Great skirtI have now made two versions of this skirt, and I already have fabric to make a couple more. I’ve made it from some hand dyed cotton fabric and from cotton canvas, and it looks great in both. The skirt fits beautifully, the pattern is very well drafted, and the instructions, like all Liesl & Co patterns, are clear and easy to follow. I adjusted the pattern a little to sit slightly below the natural waist, and it was easy to adjust. Just a great pattern and a great skirt.1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? My favourite skirt pattern!I recently made the midi version of this pattern in a heavy weight linen and it is the perfect fit for my pear-shape, a comfortable yet supportive waistband and the pockets are a useful size. The drafting and instructions are perfect-as usual! I can see many more of these in my wardrobe, for every season. It would be great if there was a tutorial on rotating the side zip to the centre back pretty please!7 of 7 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? In this video, Liesl introduces you to the Garibaldi A-Line Skirt pattern.
