Description
The island of Tortola is a destination for fun and relaxation. Like the namesake, this tank is easy-breezy and has lots of great options. It is a quick sew that is cut on the bias for a flattering fit. The neckline can be cut higher or lower, and can be a classic round shape or include a cute notch. The patterns include cutting lines for regular and full bust lines. The directions also include information about combining sizes to get the perfect fit for all shapes and sizes. Best of all, this summer staple will take up very little room in your suitcase (and is great for layering in cooler seasons)!
The Tortola Tank can be made to fit sizes XS (0-2) to 3X (24W-26W).
Suggested Fabrics
Choose a light to medium-weight woven fashion fabric for the tank. Fabric should be prewashed prior to cutting. Note: If you are using a lightweight fabric like chiffon or voile, purchase 1/2 yard of a more stable woven for the facing. Alternatively, purchase 1/2 yard of lightweight fusible interfacing (woven or tricot), and fuse it to the wrong side of the facing pieces.
Notions
Fabric marking pen/pencil for marking the darts and notchpoints. Choose a pen or pencil that makes removable marks that will show up on the wrong side of your fabric.

Sew easy tankThat should be the name of this tank pattern.Easy to download , easy, clear instructions and a full bust adjustment that worked. (Yahoo!!!). I made a few adjustments to the pattern to fit me where I'm a little wider but all in all a great sew. I have plans to make more as they take very little time to construct.3 of 3 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Best Tank EverThe full bust option in this tank makes the very best fit I have ever had in a self~made tank. The armholes don't gape and the bust doesn't pull. I will definitely make more than one.4 of 4 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?
