Description
The Patricia Tunic is cool, comfortable, and elegant. It is just as perfect for lounging by the water as it is for running errands or going out for an evening on the town. Wear with cropped white pants, jeans, or even a sweet skirt. With lots of sleeve, length, and finishing options, you can create a range of looks for yourself and your friends. The figure flattering design makes one feel terrific!
Separate straight sleeve and bell sleeve patterns are provided for each size. The bell sleeves have multiple cutting lines to make a range of lengths, and can be finished with a hem or a contrasting facing. The straight sleeve has multiple long cutting lines, and additional cutting lines for short and cap length. The straight sleeve is finished with a hem. The neckline is finished with a facing, which can be made from a contrasting fabric and placed on outside of the garment. It can be made in a range of depths, and sweet ribbon ties or a little button/loop fastener can be added.
Suggested Fabrics
Choose light- to medium-weight fabrics. For tunics with contrasting facings and/or cuffs, choose fabrics that are similar in weight and fiber content. All fabrics should be pre-washed prior to cutting.
Notions
1/2" diameter shank-style button (3/8" to 5/8" will work) for the button loop fastener option. You will also need a thin turning tool or 1/8" wide ribbon.
1/4" - 1/2" wide ribbon (1 yard) for the ribbon tie option.
