Description

This puppet wash mitt is quick and simple to sew and is easy to personalize with embellishments, such as an embroidered bow tie or buttons down the front to suggest a shirt. You can make this item in terry cloth so that it can be used in the bathtub, or if you’re not planning to subject your mitt to water you could choose wool, felt, or corduroy.

Suggested Fabrics

Fabric A: terry cloth, if planning to use in water. Wool, felt, or corduroy will work if not using the mitt in water. Fabric B: terry cloth, berber fleece, or other textured fabric.

Two 7" x 1" strips of lightweight fusible interfacing, fusible appliqué web, embroidery floss, coordinating thread, iron-on transfer pencil, and an embroidery needle.
