I grew up with a John Deere mechanic dad and both sets of my grandparents were farmers. I can totally see Jed’s excitement over a price reduction like that!

@madtownmama– I’ve sewn most of the O+s patterns, but I haven’t noticed any real issues with size inconsistency. I actually have to lengthen the sleepover pants (well, all pants patterns) for all 3 of my babies, and while I haven’t made the parachute pants, I noticed you had an issue with the waistband, so I’m wondering if you utilized the wrong…[Read more]

I thought I had a back view, but I guess not.

I did double when I drafted mine out of a heavy cotton linen blend. I also interfaced the collar to keep it crisp when worn by an active child. Hang on and I’ll attach pictures.

I had to sew the skirt side seams in layers; the base fabric was french seamed, the overlay was french seamed, and then I put the 2 layers of skirt together before attaching to the bodice. I didn’t have enough time to make and finish the chain mail shirt, but he claimed that the shirt would have been too uncomfortable and itchy after he wore the fitted chain mail hood all day.
