I learned to sew starting in about 4th grade through 4H. The last couple years I’ve enjoyed reading about the handmade sewing revival and I’m trying to revive those skills by making bags and clothes for me and my kids. I’m particularly interested in getting better sewing with knits, since that’s what they will actually wear!
I spend most of my time as a professional pianist (teaching and accompanying), raising my kids (age 7 and 9) and volunteering for their school garden program.
