Which pyjama or pajama (hello search engine!) pants are your favorites? I really like the cuff on Sleepover but feel like they use more fabric. Is this an optical illusion caused by the single pattern piece? Or is it a roomier cut?
Has anybody paired the Bedtime bottoms with the SLeepover top?

@Nicole and any others, I am going for this look:
Could I do as you did above and maybe just square off the neckline a little more? (See how on your daughter’s shirt the ‘points’ are a little more rounded)?
I bought a big 4 pattern…[Read more]

What a clever idea to use glow in the dark thread! I have a little spool of it but haven’t found a good use yet. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Wise move, Heidi — I make that mistake too often and when I see how much unicking I have to do in the morning I groan.

Oh yes, good tip to check Pinterest! I’m in the same boat as you, Linda. I’m pretty sure these machines do much more than just neatening edges, I just haven’t taken the time to explore.

I’m pretty disappointed as we’re doing a gift exchange and my draw didn’t update her list until yesterday. I didn’t realize the items on her wishlist when I shopped (early for once!) were last year’s and I can’t return them. I hate the idea of disappointing her and I’m usually a pretty good gift giver.

These are all such good tips and I would definitely do something like sew the wrong parts together or in the wrong order.
Thank you so much, I will go shopping in my stash!

A friend has asked for warmer clothes for her baby, like sweatshirt fleece. I’ve cut a top from a waffle knit and am wondering about making the pants from flannel. Any other tips? I have some pinwale cord but it’s so light, I don’t know that it would actually do much in the way of keeping her warm. I thought also of perhaps changing the placket to…[Read more]

How about washable fabric pen/chalk for marking off patterns, measuring tape, quilting ruler (again, for marking straight lines on fabric, such as for a pillowcase), one of those needle threaders like so:

Maybe a magnetic pincushion? Elastic and elastic threader for a Lazy Days skirts? Seam…[Read more]
