Another vote for the Roller Skate, in fact, I want to sew that one as well. 🙂

These are my favourite pj’s too!
(I find the cuffs easier on the Sleepover pj’s if I reverse the attachment ) -

I know it is sleeveless but it is simple, have you thought of the badminton dress at all? Otherwise I would go with the family reunion or the Carousel.

Are you able to get an invisible zipper foot for your machine Jay? I find they work better if you dont have a piping foot. Anotger thought, and I have done this in the past also, to stop the piping from bei g pushed away, is o baste it first. I know it is time consuming but it will give a better result if this is what your foot is doing to it.

Hmmm, I’m liking the pinwheel without the ruffle idea the best so far. But maybe roller skate… that way I wouldn’t have to do any alterations!
The fabric has so many vertical lines, I don’t want to break it up any more than I have to.
Thanks for all the suggestions! -

I dislike thoes zipper feet too! hope the new one works well.
I’m planning on sewing today after an unexpectedly rough week at work. I’ve got the leopard print hide and seek up to sewing in the pockets 🙂 -

I was also thinking pinwheel, with the ruffle 🙂 What about Jumprope view B with matching yellow accents?

Good question Sarvi!
I like that the dress isn’t broken up with lots of seams, and the little cap sleeves.
I don’t mind doing a bit of fiddling, I could draft it myself from scratch, but I have better things to do with my time!Carousel and Class Picnic blouse both look possible.

Oh, that’s an odd looking zipper foot! Can you bring the needle very close to the attachment point? Good luck!

How much fiddling do you want to do, and what is it that you like about the dress? At first glance the Carousel looks like a good bet.

Haha, I’m glad somebody gets my shoe obsession! These were my first pair of ‘good’ shoes, I got them 75% off at the post New Year’s Sale at Neiman Marcus and they still cost what felt like an arm and a leg. I still wear them, though! Got my money’s worth in the long run.
