I get a snow day! Once about every 10 years it snows to sea level in Tasmania. And today’s that day 🙂 Snow at my house! This is the first one I’ve experienced since I’ve been here so it’s pretty and cool 🙂

After what seems like weeks not sewing I am finally able to and am in the process of cutting a apair of denim afterschool pants for Chloë. This will be followed by Jalie jeans for Imogen and Jalie denim trousers (jeans for Noah). All in a bid to have them…[Read more]

I’m enjoying the free motion embroidery I’m doing on my denim quilt. Lots of words and a few pictures. Yes, it’s very time consuming but also encouraging me to spend lots of time praying for my friends, who will be the recipient.

@vothgirl I am so glad you are finding a way to cope with PD. My sister suffered and still does I think and her son is six! It can be dreadful but I am so glad you are able to manage it. Are you having counselling also?

I would be tempted to make the tutu and then the fairy tale with a very short skirt as the peplum (ruffle on the bottom of the skirt).

I would probably line the skirt as well to prevent any scratchyness or see throughness.
