Can I add my dislike of sewing curtains too… We needed to blackout the curtains in the girls room last week as the light was keeping them both awake when it was bedtime. I am still tracing patterns. I got out of bed to feed the baby this morning, thinking it was 5.30am but it was only 2.50am – must’ve had a power failure during the night. Anyway, I got up,mfeeling awake and cut out the traced patterns I had done yesterday so all I have to do…[Read more]

I grew up with a John Deere mechanic dad and both sets of my grandparents were farmers. I can totally see Jed’s excitement over a price reduction like that!

It looks like a wrap skirt to me. Sounds like an interesting sew. I will be looking forward to having a look, no doubt you will blog it?!@motherof5

Oh she wore pink on camp and the housemother commented they wouldn’t lose her because of it. I have my doubts as to it ever going away fully.

I have some hot pink stretch denim she is aching for me…[Read more]

Yes, @motherof5, yes regarding lining the Secret Agent trench!

I own the pattern and have never made it – and I admit it’s because I prefer a lined jacket. I worry that my version would end up too bathrobe-like and not be worn.

Could you link to your blog post about lining it and I’ll check it out…please!
