Awesome, thank you! I’ll be following along with you, I want to make that set as well for photos for Christmas cards.

It’s great to have an active new member! I’m so sorry I haven’t got any experience with this issue — I have got some rippling on very light weight fabric but have seemed to be able to steam/press it out and loosen the stitch tension a tick. Hopefully one of the clever folks here will be along shortly to chime in.

I could do the Puppet Show if no one else wants to, I have been meaning to make that one again.

I’d love to do the Bubble dress, Sarvi – it was my first ever O+S in the smallest size, and I can’t quite believe it’s already time to make the 5T.

Hi Reeni! I’m so sorry, I got busy and dropped the ball on this one. Thanks for the reminder. An upsized Puppet Show absolutely counts! Where in our sewing lists are we all at the moment? What would be the best way to organize it?
How does this sound — since there’s a lot of interest in the Puppet Show, would some like to host a sew-along for…[Read more] -

Ha ha! I read the question title and was thinking “I vaguely recall making some comparison between those….”
I think the bedtime story do use less fabric for the size. They’re perhaps my favourite of the two pants. -

I think your best bet would be to trace your pieces off with the extra length and lay them out to determine how much of each. And remember to add just a little as knits will shrink. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I don’t have any family in Australia! But thank you for thinking of me :). I know I’ll be able to find something very nice, I just like to check out what other people recommend when I’m looking at a type of fabric I haven’t worked with before. I’m looking forward to seeing what Hugo’s coat turns out like :-).

Nicole,
Excellent! Depending on our individual timing, I’ll either be picking your brain or sewing along with you! I just ordered some swatches from Mood of different black wool coatings. I looked online for some of the Moda wool that Janice mentioned in her schooldays coat sewalong post today, but as far as I could find out, she’s the only one…[Read more] -
