LucyM replied to the topic Unwanted Fabric. What to do? in the forum off topic 9 years ago
You can donate the unwanted fabric to a quilting club that makes quilts for charity. The fabric that is unsuitable for quilting can be donated to a home economics department. There may be a local society associated with a homeless shelter that has sewing facilities. If all else fails, try giving it away on Freecycle. Good luck with the purge.

LucyM replied to the topic Premade bias in the forum oliver + s: 2 + 2 9 years ago
I use store-bought bias binding all the time and have always been pleased with the results. It saves time if you want to use a solid color for the neck and ties. One cannot get creative with the bias binding typically available at the fabric store, but it is efficient and saves time.

I have been enjoying the French version of the show, Cousu Main. My inability to speak French did not seem to matter either. The format deviates a bit from the British version, but it is equally entertaining. I highly recommend it.
