Good on you Heidi. I donated a tub of cut out WIP’s last year. Very cathartic. I am like an ex-smoker now. I cut-I sew. I am terrified of going back to that!

I’m with @Inder–use it or trim and yokes and details and you’ll get lots of mileage out of it! But I love @with-love-heidi‘s list! Can’t wait to see it.

I think it’s a matter of personal preference, yes. I used this method for the instructions because it’s less fiddly. But if you prefer the single fold bias method that’s an easy change to make.

Sew Alongs 10 years agoI messed up on my first one too and had to unpick:) I threw mine through the wash and steamed the neck with an iron. It seemed to help. On both sizes I made, I clipped the collar just a bit in the front to help ease it in.

Did you see Liesl’s recent tutorial on the blog?
adding pockets to the parachute sweatpants (and the butterfly skirt)
Not sure this is exactly what you want, but it could be a starting point.
