Cooking and Baking 10 years agoA neighbour dropped me off a bag of lemons this morning so I made this for supper http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/20191/lemon+delicious#comments
I doubled the recipe but reduced the sugar by 1/3, still fantastic.
I did add and extra 1/3 cup of lemon juice too. -

Cooking and Baking 10 years ago@Reeni, thank you!!!
Do you mean attendance or weighing scales? I have kitchen scales and my 1960 Sunbeam mixer 🙂
I am waiting on my new stove (happy dance) and my existing free standing oven is being moved out to the shed as a warmer/hotplate. It is gas and quite large but the door seals have gone so not so good for baking.
I would love your…[Read more]

@juliamom2009 janice that cape is a monster size version of the messy kid bib from Little Things To Sew, worn backwards. Because the fastening is off set to one side it shouldn’t be too visible from the front.
Hope that helps as an idea. -

My children are on the small side so take my two cents with a grain of salt!
My solid 14 month old is wearing the size 6-12 months with one fold of the sleeves.

Not a giant recipe, but I would imagine it could be usefully doubled and made a few times — might be easier on your kitchen/baking tools too.

Wow @needlewoman you will be busy.
I finished my shirt but I am unhappy with the collar, completely my fault, I should have muslined just the collar.
In a nutshell, I swopped the collar and made it too long and the collar stand ate it! I have not tried it on yet… too nervous. I hope it looks okay, I really want to wear it to my son’s party.

Nicole replied to the topic Ribbing for waistband? in the forum oliver + s: sunny day shorts 10 years ago
I made my daughter some yoga pants with a ribbing waist and I did have to go back and add elastic
I unpicked a wee bit of the seam, threaded it through and then hand sewed it up again. -

Could you finish the neckline and wrists with bias (or jersey equivalent) and tuck the edges of the scarf-like bit in there?

Well I managed to double dip and get Sarvi’s size 5 project covered as well with my monochrome swingset.
I’ve always thought a lovely sewing community idea would be a “skill swap”. In the way that quilters swap quilt blocks, or people swap handmade gifts. In my swap idea (which I’m not volunteering to organise cause I think it could get really…[Read more] - Load More
