I’m sewing up my very first bistro dress and I’m considering a subtitle plaid. How well do you think this pattern would suit a slightly drapy rayon/cotton plaid?

I love this new dress! And it is easy! And has contrast! And a v-neck. I might actually get it done while it is still in season . . .

I’m making a building block dress. My skirt has a border print and all the skirts I can find in the book have a curved bottom edge. Any advice on how to sew it so there is a straight bottom edge without creating problems :-).
