Hold this thought for the weekend @enbee we’ve got a blog post coming up with lots of inspiration for jeans from Oliver + S patterns!
My all time favourites were mashing the back half of the After School pattern with the front half of the Field Trip! But there are other great examples.

I am just finishing off the hems of the three playdate dresses this morning. I had hoped to finish them yesterday but we had a storm that took our power so that put paid to that!

Choosing something like lawn would be perfect as you want something that is a natural fibre so it won’t irritate the skin around where they operate. Hospitals tend to be warm year round also – I was told they keep a temp of around 25…[Read more]

I am trying to pin sleeves onto the three playdate dresses all whilst having Chloë on my lap “passing” me the pins. I have to give her a job to do or my job doesn’t get done!

So all three yokes have minipiping firmly attached and I have one pinned and ready to sew – all whilst texting to find out how the outdoor ed camp went.

I had a request to use the pink denim for a jacket – I can really see this as a moto and would use the Lisette pattern for…[Read more]

It looks like a wrap skirt to me. Sounds like an interesting sew. I will be looking forward to having a look, no doubt you will blog it?!@motherof5

Oh she wore pink on camp and the housemother commented they wouldn’t lose her because of it. I have my doubts as to it ever going away fully.

I have some hot pink stretch denim she is aching for me…[Read more]

Slowly does it I’m afraid @Nicole he is on “light duties” and we plan to start seeding the crop dry around Anzac and “plod” our way through.

The gator is the best thing since sliced bread – very economical and uses less fuel oer km than the motorbike – so my digging in of the no bike heels has paid off to great advantage – never liked bikes…[Read more]
