You could overlock,turn and topstitch,Or make a narrow band(ribbing) or bind it with the same fabric?

So have you made your decision? Sounds like it from the excitement in your voice. My overlocker doesn’t have coverstitch but my mum has one that has been sitting in it’s box with coverstitch (she’s too scared to get it out). I bought the combo Suse(rather hubby bought it for me),big mistake-royal pain in the bum to swap over!
A small tip,my cover stitch doesn’t like fat seams,so when I hem I fold the side seam in opposite directions above and below the seam(twist it),so that I am stitching one seam layer instead of double. It presses up nicely.

Hi Sandi – usual price here is between $25 & $27AU (+ P/P), so you can see why I was excited by Amy’s sale prices! (Although sad too, as she is no longer going to be selling O+S patterns – they’re not that widely available here.)

Hi – just wanted to let everyone in Australia (well, everywhere I guess!) that Amy/badskirt’s got all her O+S patterns on sale for $16 (why, oh why did I just check her blog!)- she’s even got some Playdate’s left!

I am finishing up 3 pair of sailboat pants in denim for the older girls. After that , I have 3 brunch jackets to make.
