Oh that is a great piece of news. My late parents in law did the same thing when their elder two went to the city to study. Unfortunately it was sold a few years ago so we don’t get to be independent from family anymore. I now have an outer shell finished and bits of lining sewn to vents and I just have to do fabric origami and put it all together.

I have not made this polo but I have made a lot of polos. 😉
I usually transfer the markings from the pattern front.

PS Don’t forget to stay stitch the neck line, it can ver very useful for safe clipping when easing the collar in place.

I do, I use fold your own bulky towelling squares. 🙂
I simply size up, usually two sizes then when they are out of nappies, you have shorts waiting.
