I’ve definitely found that different fabrics have varying amounts of stretch on the bias, and it can effect the neckline a great deal. April, stitch the first row of basting along the line you transferred, just as it says in the instructions. If someone would like to write a tutorial on the chevron method (the V without the cross-over), I’d be so thrilled. It’s on my To Do list, but it’s not rising to the top anytime soon, I fear.
