Becky, I checked out my notes on this pattern and I have made the large size and the small and I have not made mention of any discrepancies.
I am sorry not to be more help. -

I am happy to share, I was given the contents of a drapery section of a small country shop. It posts very cheaply.
Let me know what you are after and I will see what I have. -

My waist is too big for my pants
I wonder if, maybe, by chance
They shrunk in the wash
Yet I’m ever so posh -

She struggles because she doesn’t really like to follow directions, but yet she asks advice on FB when she gets stuck, which is how she and I became more friends. Anyways, I’m going…[Read more]

Yes, I second Reeni’s spray starch suggestion. I started using it a few months ago to keep knits lying flat so I could photograph the steps. Turns out, it seems a little easier to sew the knits with the spray starch, too. Much less fiddling with the curled edges.

There once was a designer from New York
Who loved foie gras and pulled pork
Said he to his lady:
Patè is ethically shady… -

I do a lot of darning by using a small piece of soft interfacing ironed to the back, over the hole, and then I hand sew it with a matching thread making sure not to pull it too tight. A good press afterwards flattens things down.
Often it will just look like a slub in the fabric.

But I’m sewing a bikini to wear
To swim at the pool
But I’m no bodies fool…
My shape will cause quite a scare! The holiday season draws near
