The grading all appears to be correct (after going over and over it), and when I look at the pieces everything seems to be in order. I truly can’t figure out where you might be running into a problem here.

Our school is tiny (only 130 students) but I am very proud to share that my son, Hugo, won the Student of the Year award last night, at our Presentation Night.

My special friend Deb gave me the tip of three rows of gathers to help smooth and ease a sleeve cap. I wonder if that may help here?

I think there are a lot of variables. I have some knit that is easily 20 years old and fine!

Wash it and give the fabric a good stretch, if it doesn’t recover its shape it has probably had its day.

Oooh, looking at the size chart you may be pushing it… but since you already have it cut, I would chance it.
Maybe do a narrower side seam?
