We haven’t made that pattern available in digital format. When you start to make your alterations, it is actually quite important that you work with traced pattern pieces rather than the original or with copies printed from a PDF. I hope your mother continues to improve.

That will depend on what the fabric you are sewing.

For lawn and voile, I use a size 10, a size 12 for most other fabrics and a 14 for denim.

If you google it, you should find a good chart that will recommend type and needle size.

The grid lines on the tiled pattern pieces are all 1″ x 1″. You can use any of those as the test square.
