Funny you mention that, Robin, I think that’s why there was a lot of interest in my Cinema dress. It was one of the first ones and I listed my measurements in a fair amount of detail. I think folks intended to be complimentary when they called me brave, but why wouldn’t I? I guess I don’t think people necessarily refrain from posting that info out…[Read more]

Joining flicker was a New Year’s resolution for me in 2011. And I kept checking to see if anyone had looked at my stuff. It took awhile. Joining groups helped, and a few pieces have been profiled on blogs. I’m not a photographer. My most viewed item is the playtime tunic and leggings, photo taken at night and indoors. We got a call yesterday to say we have a lease to sign for a house. Hooray! We need to get it checked by the embassy before we sign it, but hopefully we will sign it this evening and start the countdown before we move. We also need to find out where our shipment of stuff is – somewhere between here and Australia, but where?! π

Sarvi- I’m having real trouble deciding. I was hoping to find dual voltage machines and take them home in three years, but none of the machines I like are dual… yet!
I’m currently looking at a juki tl2000 q, semi industrial high speed straight stitch, and a baby lock Laura overlocker. I’ll also need a machine for zigzag and buttonholes, but I…[Read more] -

If it is any help, I didn’t cut my bias leg piece until I had sewed and gathered the legs, when I was checking.

I made another two Hopscotch’s, one more dress and a tee. I cut a Hopscotch skirt/Tea Party dress combo from some very soft linen/cotton fabric.

My Lisette Diplomat Tunic was the most viewed/favorited flickr photo for me. I’m pretty sure that was due to Explore. It’s such a dorky photo of me!lol My top 9 “interesting” photos on flickr are all Oliver + S (and 1 Lisette). The ruffle Class Picnic shorts and School Days raincoats are some of my personal favorites and they were #1 and #3…[Read more]

By adding a contrast pattern and fabric at the front I was able to make up the cardigan! It’s a winner I wore it all day yeaterday and it dresses up leggings very well π

Bumping this one as I am having the same trouble, I can’t find the numbers anywhere on the 2t-5 sheet. Does anyone know where they are?
