This is my first time posting. Please forgive my mistakes ( like posting twice and not being more specific in the subject line!).

To the hem…like boutique shorts. I have tried pj patterns but they’re too slim and the stride is way too long!

Where would you like to add the ruffle, my love?

Thanks for bumping all of those old posts, Heidi. I didn’t even think about doing a search. I ordered some and hopefully can figure it all out.

I use KAM snaps and snap press.
I have this snap press http://www.snapsaustralia.com.au/Professional_Snap_Press_p/pr2.htm
And I use size 20 snaps from the same place.
I spent about $100 Aus setting up, including postage, but I figure I only needed to put in 50 or so to be financially ahead given the price of buttons! I have used the press so much…[Read more] -

I have another one, which would also e handy on the blog…
A “back to top” hovering link type f thing, as some pages can be quite long and not having to scroll back up to the top when done would be handy!! -

new tab, and the reply idea is a good one too.

Definitely as a ‘new tab’!! Also, it would be great to have a ‘reply’ button underneath each comment….in case someone asked a specific question, and you could have a branch of discussion within the main thread. I liked the suggestion about having the threads start with the newest information first as well.

Stuffing the ballot box for new tab. (You can new tab in chrome on a mac, it’s not PC-specific, but I’m lazy.)

Well here in western part of the State of New York, UPK, which isn’t universal at all starts at age 4. By not universal, I mean, only some school districts do it, some do it for a half day, some for a full day. Some only have so many spots, unlike Kindergarten itself where all are welcome. Some can enroll every child.

What age does universal preK start where you are? Is that a government service? I’m just curious. But yes, it looks like those single patterns will be useful. I will probably be making bloomers and playground shorts for my girl this spring. She’s much more active now and will need something under the dresses.

Well, in September my daughter will be going to universal pre-kindergarten (UPK), and the following year, all day K.
Up until now, she’s been home. In the winter with her dresses, we use tights or leggings, and in the summer, b/c she’s at home, if while playing in a dress, she flashed undies, no one has cared.
Now that we will be attending…[Read more] -

I took a pair out that I made. I laid them out, so I could see how the construction with the yoke works, since i couldn’t remember. I lengthened the pant piece instead of the yoke. We shall see. I might have to muslin it, since I don’t want to waste my Amy Butler fabric on a big mistake! 😉
