There was a really interesting series on my local radio station about this recently, they took a t-shirt and traced it as far back as they could, all the way to the cotton production, I think? Let me see if I can dig up a link for you. Very interesting topic!

No cable here either but we have Hulu. I love Nashville and The Mindy Project. Hubby is in NYC tonight so I will be able to catch up on my chick shows and yes, I have some hand sewing to do too 🙂

MASH is awesome! We were watching the one called Adam’s Ribs last night and They talked about ribs so much that we had to go out and buy ribs for dinner for tonight haha. They are in the oven now! And thanks @sarvi 🙂

Totally confused – Attaching the Facing

There was a blog post I recall about the birthday party dress, but I believe it had to do with how you construct the bodice lining (because you fold and crease it, then unfold it to stitch it). I don’t recall there being anything about the hem but let me have a peep and see if I can find it.

Do you guys know if this is Tana (Liberty’s lawn) or the Japanese cotton lawn Spotlight had before? Nicole sent me some of that and I have been hoarding it. It’s gorgeous, with a crisper hand than Tana, I think it will hold pleats better and I have it in mind for a Music Class blouse. I just saw this but I’m totally in! My daughter (almost 3) saw the butterfly pattern and just about lost it she wanted the skirt so bad so I’m letting her “help” me 😉
