i have a singer serger 14sh654 it worked fine i oiled it now it makes a chain but when i put fabric in it will not serge but when fabric comes out it carries on making chain please help i have changed needles about 10 times and retreaded so many i lost count

hi- most of us don’t dare go to spotlight at the moment – we are in lockdown for covid … also spotlight has just had its massive June 30 sale so the on-line stock levels may not be accurate … alternatively you may want to find a professional site that allows you to ship to a post box in Australia – and they then ship it on to the US … as we…[Read more]

Hi! Off the top of my head I seem to recall the hem is relatively straight. If it’s a little curved you can always cheat and straighten it out–quite a few of our customers have done similar with other of our style. Hi, I’m new here and I hope this is the way to ask a question! I am looking for a simple pattern with few seams which is suitable for use with a fabric that has a border at the hem line. I bought my dad some silk pajama s a couple of Christmases ago after finding the pajamas cheaper than the fabric!
I reckon it’s a silk satin that you want. Silk seems to be variously measured in g per sq/m as we’re familiar with, but also in “mommes”.
