Not for everyoneI like the design and the model is very easy to sew. But the fit was not good at all for my body. I think the model fits best on women with narrow shoulders and a small bust.1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Warabi kimono tunicI enjoyed putting this top together. Alas, the fit is not right.
I wish you have a FBA option. The size is ok on the shoulders but it pulls at the bust/bodice seam.
Gave it to my friend.4 of 4 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Delightful top!Love the simplicity of the way this goes together. After adjusting for sizing, I made this in a border print gauzy voile. Happy with the bodice on the non-bias to allow for the border print to do all the talking. Wore it to the quilt shop where I work, and got a request to teach a private lesson to a quilter looking to make more summer garments. Hers was lovely. We lengthened the bodice three inches to make it more tunic, and shortened the sleeves an inch. Would be lovely to see these patterns in larger sizes. I was looking for a top to wear over tanks. This style is perfect!3 of 3 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Super easy- totally cuteVery easy to follow instructions. I did have to grade the pattern up a size, but I figured that going in, due to the size range. I have made 2 shirts already and plan on making several more. My husband even commented on how he thought it was a nice shirt and looked good one me. It took about 2 hours from cut to finish for this shirt.7 of 7 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?nice and easy but needed adjustment to fit meThis is a nice garment and very easy to sew. The only problem I found was with the fit on my body - the seam which goes under the bust was a bit too high. It's not really a problem and I can still wear the garment as it has lots of room, but I would prefer it if the seam was in the right place. I should have sewn a practice garment to check for fit as this could easily have been adjusted. This is not a problem with the pattern, just with my impatience ; )5 of 5 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?ReviewThe instructions are wonderful! The design is unique and beautiful.
