Description

Refined, yet elegant and casual, this classic shirt dress can go anywhere and can be worn in multiple ways. The elastic waist looks smocked and can be cinched with the drawstring that ties in front. The bodice features buttons halfway up the front and a classic collar with collar band. Choose from long sleeves with a tower placket and button cuffs (View A) or short sleeves with ruffle detail (View B). The below-the-knee skirt can be lengthened or shortened to suit your preferences. This style can be worn year-round and layered in cooler weather.

This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight woven fabrics with moderate body and drape like cotton voile, lawn, shirting, linen, lightweight crepe, and rayon.
