Made it three times so farWe really this top with skinny jeans and leggings. It drapes nicely. We did take the back in about 1” total and tapered the sleeves to make then not so baggy. My daughter and I both sewed size med, we lengthened the sleeves 1.5” and the bottom 3”. We are 5’10” tall. I usually wear a 10 in off the rack and my daughter wears a 8.Was this helpful? Will make again with modificationsI found the design simple and attractive. I used a knit with more than 30% stretch and would not do that again unless I went down a size. I would lower the slit on the sides as it falls above my waist and my side shows. I consider myself to be of average proportion, not low waist or anything. It is worth checking before stitching. The sleeves were also extremely long and I would shorten at least 3 inches. I'm around 5' 7" and 150 pounds making a size m\L if that is helpful.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Digital Talvikki SweaterLoved the fact that I can get Named patterns, an European pattern company, quickly and easily through Oliver + S. This pattern is an easy sew pattern, but I would suggest sewers be sure of what size to sew as European sizing is different than North American sizes. I would also advise checking on the length as I found I would have been happier with an additional 2 inches in length. I sewed the Talvikki Sweater in a much heavier and loosely knit fabric than is shown and it turned out great. I will definitely sew this item again.5 of 5 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?
