Description

Every lady needs an effortless dress that she can just throw on and feel charming and composed. The Oceanside Dress fits that bill! The raglan sleeves give it a sporty look, yet the half-circle skirt makes it feminine and fun. This comfortable knit dress also has a shape that flatters every size and shape!

Suggested Fabrics

Primary Fabric: Use medium-light weight, 2-way or 4-way knit fabric with 50% to 75% stretch, ideally with spandex content for good recovery. Choosing your Size

• Compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
• Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
• It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust and waist. See "Blend Sizes" in the instructions for details.
• Because it is a flare skirt, the hip is essentially unconstrained; therefore the hip measurement is not used to determine the size. Use the same size as the waist for the skirt.
• If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the bodice and/or the skirt (see “Lengthen/Shorten” in the instructions).
• It is highly recommended that you check your fit by making a test garment with inexpensive fabric that has similar weight as your final garment fabric.
