digital mittens + no-tie scarf sewing pattern
These mittens can be sewn in a fleece or a soft wool felt, both of which feel good next to the skin. And the construction method creates extra room so that little hands can move around easily. The scarf is especially functional for kids because it doesn’t need to be tied and stays wrapped warmly around necks on cold days.

Description
Many children resist wearing mittens because they don’t like the way they feel against their skin and the way they restrict their hand movement. These mittens can be sewn in a fleece or a soft wool felt, both of which feel good next to the skin. And the construction method creates extra room so that little hands can move around easily. The scarf is especially functional for kids because it doesn’t need to be tied and stays wrapped warmly around necks on cold days. This is an easy-to-sew project with lots of room for creative embellishment.
