    Description

    Gabriella Fae is a delightful little dress for all seasons. It features a fully lined, empire style bodice and a full, twirly skirt. The bodice can be made with a smooth and simple outer layer (perfect for applique or embroidery), or a gathered overlay may be substituted to give a stylish ruched look in the front and back. It can be made sleeveless, or in a range of sleeve lengths. The sleeveless version is perfect for the beach and summer parties. In the cooler months, the long sleeved version is cozy warm for holiday festivities, and looks great paired with boots. As a bonus, instructions are included for making a cute bow pin for the waistband.

    Suggested Fabrics

    Choose light to medium-weight fashion fabrics for the dress. The lining should have a similar fiber content, but can be a lighter weight than the fashion fabric. For cotton fabrics, fabrics like muslin and broadcloth work well for the lining. All fabrics should be prewashed prior to cutting.

    I made this pattern for my niece for a gift. I love the style as I can make the sleeves and length as long as I want to. Very easy and concise instructions so the pattern was relatively easy to make up. Thanks for a beautiful pattern.
