Chai teeGreat elevated tee shirt pattern! Fits great thanks to the cup sizes. I also like the option to try it in a woven. Was this helpful?Great t shirt patternLovely pattern! Grading fantastic and fully appreciate the cup sizes. Elongated it as well to make a cute T shirt dress which looks great! Was this helpful?Chai teeEasy to follow instructions. Need to do pattern alteration for front as too wide for me. Like the gathers and double "yoke"Was this helpful?Chai teeI wanted jersey tee shirts with a bit of a difference. Sizing is massive. I’m wearing mine as PJ top. Might try I’m woven as it might. Be better fit. Bit disappointed.1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Lovely design.I truly love the design and shape of this T-shirt, I have made 2 so far. One of my makes was a size small with an A/B cup front piece and the other was an XL with a D cup front piece. On both versions the neckline was a little too wide/big so when I make again I will draft a slightly smaller neckline. The other small thing that I will need to correct is the placement/sizing around the shoulders for the D Cup front pieces. The yoke is the same size whether for an A/B, C or D cup front piece. I found that the yoke pieces were exactly 1cm too short to attach to the shoulder of the XL D cup front piece. For the XL D cup front piece I also found that the pleats were just a little too far from the shoulder which makes the overall look a little less balanced. I also prefer to sew my neck binding in the round. I intend to fix thses issues with the pattern and then make some more of thses staple t-shirt.4 of 4 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Loved it.I loved the ability to easily do an FBA. It goes together beautifully. I will be making many more of these. Was this helpful?Favorite summer t-shirt patternI sewed up this pattern 3 times so far and planning more. First I used single stretch jersey and followed all instructions. I Found that the sleeves are too boxy on me so I prefer the turned up sleeve version. Next two times I used modal loopback jersey and I made only one layer of the shoulder panel and the sleeve. They fit perfectly. I found that this pattern is rather close fitting and true to size.5 of 5 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Love the look of this pattern!Love this pattern! Was very easy to follow the instructions, but I did look at the sew along pictures on the website for a little extra help with the yoke. Love the pleats and the way the sleeves go together. I loved not having to finish the end of the sleeves and it gives them a nice structure. I used the D cup, which fit me perfectly. The only changes I made was to lower the neckline, and then the neck binding to match. Definitely recommend. Was this helpful?Such a nice t-shirt!I just sewed a 'test' shirt with some old knit fabric, thinking that I'd never wear it, but it turned out so well and fits perfectly, so it'll definitely be part of my regular wardrobe. I made a small in the A/B cup, and the only modification I might have to make in the next one is widening it at the hips. Otherwise, another great pattern from Liesl+Co!3 of 3 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Love the patternKnew I had to sew this tshirt when I saw the pattern. I did a "test" on some material on hand. Directions very easy to follow. I did make a few changes: sleeve one layer with narrow hem and did a binding on the neck. Overall pleased with the look and want to try a woven fabric; I have some rayon print which would make a cool summer top. Also want to try making long sleeve. Thanks!1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Easy sewingIt is such an easy pattern, few pieces make it quite simple and the instructions are clear. The only modification I made was shortening the length by 2" as I'm on the petite side, something I have to do quite often. I made a version A, with the sleeves uncuffed, and with a very drapey knit it looks almost like a wavy sleeve which I like a lot!2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? My new go to T-shirtIt was love at first sight. I have been looking for a t-shirt pretty plain with details. This one tick all the boxes and I love it. The finishes are lovely and I fast make too. I have planned at least 6 more to do.1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Chai TeeA wonderful pattern! The shoulder yoke construction is elegantly simple; the pleats a bit unusual and very flattering. I have made it twice and will use it many times more.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Chai TeeI really love the details of this top and have made three so far. It's very easy to construct and I like the finished result so much. I shortened mine a few inches and sewed an XS in the size D cup. Size small matched my measurements but I like a more fitted look.I did have to enlarge the armholes then the sleeve quite a bit, as they were very tight.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Love this patternTees are so useful and this shirt has the unique details that make it both useful and special. Sewing was easy, explanations were as always good and straight forward, it's easy to sew with a regular machine and the tee turned so nice! I wear it all the time. Was this helpful?Beautiful Tee!I choose tees from my closet more than anything else because they are so comfortable. This is a great pattern because it includes fun details like a cuffed sleeve, pleats, and yokes on the shoulders which you could easily use for color blocking. The other great part of this pattern is that it includes pattern pieces for different bust cups, with no darts! This was a great addition to my pattern library!3 of 3 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? From the Discussion Forums
