Hallo Tiina, I am so glad you joined. I have girls too (well, one boy) and I have started pulling out O+S clothes I made for older siblings, for the younger ones. I love that!
What patterns do you sew for your husband?

Sarvi started the topic FBA bust darts on Gallery Tunic in the forum liesl + co: gallery tunic + dress 10 years ago
Hi gals,
I’ve made a 3/4″ FBA on a size 8 Gallery tunic, in semi sheer white fabric. I feel as though the bust darts are a bit too long, or something. Feels a bit like two paper airplanes pointing at my nipples! Not quite the look I had in mind. Could I make them shorter? Would I make them wider to compensate?

I found this today when I was tidying (not O+S though)

Oh Jane, me too! The most striking ones for me are Jeanne’s daughter and Nicole’s son. From toddler/little boy to young lady/young gent!I have a special spot in my heart for ‘our’ kids. Lucky folks, who get to wear O+S from the beginning.

I have decided to jump ahead to the next pattern I want to use and am making headway in tracing the apple picking dress. The ironing board is now covered in “candidates”!
I don’t think I will cut any fabric right now though. I just don’t want to have heaps on the go and find I can’t sew it all in good time. Its just a bit busy around here at the…[Read more]

How messy is messy Ellen?
When I apply a cuff, I attach it from the inside and the topstitch it from the right side.
I can find a picture if you need.
I got a good start on Elsa’s (15) trench coat, so far it is going together nicely.
We are having a ‘discussion’ about the length. She wanted in long but now would like me to chop a lot off.

Jax congratulations! Twins wow! I wish you the best of luck for a healthy pregnancy and birth.
My baby Chloe had her needles yesterday and treated me to a blissful two hours of time in the sewing room (while she slept). During this time I pleated the front skirt of a smocked dress I plan to make. I’m using the most gorgeous checked winter twill…[Read more]
