I made a garden party out of some Nani Iro double gauze a couple of summers ago. It was wonderful.
It does fray easily, but it wasn’t horrible. Treat it gently and serge/zigzag/french seam. You don’t need to line it.

Sorry, I don’t have a photo handy without the little bolero (it was early spring, so thought she needed a little more, but it hides the best parts of the dress!)

I haven’t made this pattern, but I have made a few fleece things over the years and just made my stepson some fleece pants. I interfaced the pocket area (zipper pockets), using an interfacing intended for knits, with some stretch. I use a wet press cloth and haven’t had a problem with the fleece.
Long ago I made a fleece jacket and the buttonholes were difficult because I hadn’t interfaced. One of my first sewing projects ever was a fleece robe (big 4 pattern) I interfaced the facings with a non-woven interfacing, as I didn’t know the difference at the time, and it gave it more stability, but eventually the interfacing disintegrated.

I would advise testing on a scrap. 🙂
    Good luck!

I made them a couple of months ago for J. She is 4 and her measurements are similar: She has a 21.5″ chest, 20.5″ waist, and 21.5″ hips, 39″ tall. From past experience, I know her torso runs long and her legs are short.
For comparison, in the sleepover PJs (the only other pants I have made her), she is wearing a 3 on top and a 2 on bottom and I just uncuffed the pants.

I made the 3 straight up, figuring I could tighten the elastic as much as needed and hoping to get some good wear out of them. They are about 1.5″ too long, which I expected. And they are pretty baggy. I wish I had made the 2 and just lengthened a touch.

    Hope that helps.

I thought this was a great deal too, and ordered some. Beware, though… I got my order today, and it Turns out the price is per 1/8 yard, which is not apparent when you order. And the cord is very thin, won’t be very warm in the winter!
