Brenda – YES, I found those patterns! I used the jumper pattern for Molly (which was the original doll I owned) as the base for all the dresses I sewed and it worked great.

Good luck with your jacket. My husband has a soft shell that he loves – but it cost an arm and a leg; even $20 fabric is a bargain in comparison!

My six-year-old vastly prefers knits to wovens. I make a lot of Playtime leggings for her. They are her very favorite thing to wear. She also really likes a knit dress I made for her by lengthening the Sailboat top pattern. That said, she will wear most dresses. She does not love collars but I can usually talk her into them. @sarvi Yes, they take very little fabric. I had a couple of “diaper cuts” (slightly larger than fat quarters) of girly knit fabric lying around from when I was sewing cloth diapers for my girls years ago and I got two larger pairs out of one cut, and four of the smaller size out of the second cut!
