No measuring as we live some distance from our sons family, and I wanted the outfit to be a surprise. I think the waistband would fit, and possibly the skirt without a nappy but that’s not going to happen for a 1 yr old. buttonhole elastic is a great idea – thanks for that. I’ll try it on a bigger size

Jacket fits well and looks lovely but we couldn’t get the skirt over her disposable nappy.
