Well today is camp day for Imogen. I was asked what the time was every five minutes on the way to school she was so excited. It is just an overnight camp but I was loading the shopping in the car when the bus went by and I felt like I needed to cry! It is the first of many steps away for her and I know she will be fine. But will I?

Well I think I need to hop onto their mailing list or something! They would be perfect as a transition pair from the field trips – and would save time on upsizing!

Thanks Girls, you are kind.
Back from a whirlwind trip to our beach cottage, to deliver the new washing machine and mow the lawns.
The mice had had a field day so it was a bit of a mess. I have brought all the bedding home to wash and we will take it back next weekend.

Robin those pants are now on my list – seeing as we went shopping for “work pants” for my 9 year old in the men’s section yesterday! I had no idea this pattern existed until now!

Have you seen Thread Theories new pant pattern. They have side pockets and look like a grown up version of the field trip cargo pants.

All I can say is ouch! I have done that on occassion myself but wasn’t having to nurse a new baby when I did it so I completely understand the huge inconvenience and obvious discomfort. We use Manuka honey alot to heal wounds. I wonder if this will speed up recovery? I know it is great with cuts and blisters and it draws any infection out. In any…[Read more]

I did pretty much just what Meleliza describes for two weddings, but with a different bodice, and put in an invisible zip in the back.
