I’m sewing another Pettiskirt. I haven’t sewn one for a while but I had the impulse to so I am 🙂 Not sure if I’ll give it to the recipient when finished or put it away until her birthday in December.

I made a muslin of the Alabama Chanin corset top. After all my flat pattern adjustments, grading over pretty much all the sizes and adding 3.5″ of length between bust and armhole. @mari, unfortunately that particular pattern will never be available again. Simplicity took it out of print, and it will not be re-released.

We don’t have a “wanted” board here, but I do know that pattern shows up on eBay every once in a while. You could check there for it.

I’ve taken to Alabama Chanin hand sewing. I’m very surprised how much I’m enjoying it. I’m just about finished my first garment, a bolero hacked from Cashmerette Concord tee. It’s very relaxing to have a project to just sit and do even when I’m feeling under the weather and don’t feel it’s safe to be machine sewing.
