Yes Sarvi, a knitters’ club would be great!
I’m overseas and away from my sewing machines again but have been quite productive with my knitting needles during these cold Italian evenings. The knitting is always a good time filler during long-haul flights plus you have something to show at the end of 24+ hours. -

@dubhels2003, I have bought quite a bit of fabric from dotsnstripes.co.uk. Nicole, the owner, has a lovely selection of plain and patterned jersey fabrics as well as some sweatshirting. I alsreally like her corduroy fabrics.

I used the backpack pattern recently and had no trouble adding an extra pocket to the front. Admittedly, I used the pattern to make a ‘cow’ backpack and not a more grown-up version that would appeal to a school-aged child!
