Zara would like a Moto jacket next time, I am so excited to sew it. I really enjoyed making Hugo’s coat and she wants that wool or the piece Shelley McStitch sent me.

I agree, I think denim maketh the jeans, not just the pattern.

I have, with buttonhole elastic.

I have recently pulled them out for my next child.

I know what I do but I am not sure what it is called….

I stitch a small stitch into the sash ( 2mm) and that goes to a longer running stitch in the dress lining (1 cm), pulling so it is firm but does not pucker.

I will see if I can find a picture for you.

Absolutely Rebecca.
I would lay the bodice with the skirt and cut as one piece.
I have a tute here if you would like an idea of how it goes together.
