Yes, we will going into summer but the mommy likes her air conditioner. LOL I will be making outfits for warm and cool. I also love to use the same pattern to make different looks. Good use of time that way. Can’t wait to see yours. Stay well. Back to work on the pjs for little girl. Did I mention I am a slow sewer. No where as productive as you and Nicole.

I can’t wait to see the bubble dresses. This little one will be styling. What a blessed baby she will be. One day closer and out of the hospital.
I am working on a pair of jammies for little girl to wear for “Wear Pajamas to School Day”. They have pandas on them and she is excited.

I am so glad I knit and crochet. I have taken these project to a lot of appointments and to several hospital stays. I wish I had my projects this last time. Late October I went in as an emergency with extreme high blood pressure. I could have used a project to help bring it down. lattemama that is the cutest story. I hope she and her twins did well. I will have to go back and read about how it turned out. justsewit please post as you can so we know all is well. I will be praying daily for you and your family.

Nicole, that sounds like a good idea. Would you use them like when you upcycle a tee or do you have to do something to make sure they don’t run or unravel?

I put thermal pants (like pj pants) under GD’s leggings. She always has odd pairs from the hand me downs from her cousins. We don’t get enough really cold weather here to make lined pants worth the time. I may do a couple pair this year with it being extra cold.

I lived on Florida’s east coast growing up and all the shrimp boats put up lights on their rigging and decked out the whole thing in holiday decor. They sailed them down the river. It was so festive. Downtown was all decorated and as you looked down main street you could see the boats docked. They also decorated the water tower including a big star on the top. These are some of my earliest memories.

brenda1652 The news said your area was getting 3 feet of snow this week. I hope that doesn’t put a damper on your parade. I would love to see all the Christmas decorations with snow on the ground. I have actually had one white Christmas when we lived in Virginia over 15 years ago. It was like a Norman Rockwell picture. So beautiful but so cold. My southern bone don’t like the cold very much.
