Don’t bother eating it, just stick it straight on your bum, that it where it will end up 😉

@motherof5 the kedgeree looks interesting! I’ve never heard of it before, one of the things I love about this thread. And yes, yams = sweet potatoes (they may be different plants but for all intents and purposes are interchangeable in recipes). I would imagine the sweetness of the yams plays nicely against the sharp salty Gruyere :-).

Hang in there, miss N. My grumble is a general one — I wish my space didn’t look like an explosion in a lint factory.

Ooh, that’s a sneaky one — I wouldn’t have thought of that either. Hang in there, ladies, we’re in the home stretch.

Haha, I’m reminding myself that my 5 year old has so little experience of piping that I can always tell her it’s a design choice for it to look like that, much as she claims that some of the notes she plays on violin are “beautiful to me, anyway…”
