Using Shantung silk for the lining

    I cut out the dress pattern from 100% Shantung silk and I have enough left over that I can use it for the lining. Is there any reason it will not work? The voile that I bought for the lining online is the wrong color.

    Use it!

    I lined the bodice of my Lisette silk Traveller dress with silk taffeta and it is a dream to wear.

    I am looking forward to seeing this,I adore sewing with silk.
