Underlining — which parts?

    Hello folks. I know this is still a new pattern but I’m hoping some of you who’ve made this can advise. I want to underline just the ‘core’ of this dress (apple joke, sorry) but leave the sleeves and top ruffle sheer. Does that sound like it would work? I’ve read through the instructions and it seems like it should work, but there might be something that’s not popping out at me as I haven’t made it before.

    I finished this dress literally 24 hours ago in a very sheer vintage silk and I wish I had done as you suggest!

    I would have doubled the back and front pieces and sewed them ”2as1” like I did with Miss Z’s Seashore dress. That also eliminates see through side seams in a sheer fabric.
