Sewing for a full tummy child

    My tall 7 year old daughter has a 31inch waist and 29 inch hips. She prefers to wear clothes which sit under her tummy. I’m struggling now with what to sew her as she needs skirts and shorts. Dresses are easier as we tend to go for high waisted styles.

    Any suggestions got how to manage this, patterns and adjustments and fit based on experience would be much appreciated. Nb, she’s not so tall she’s in adult sizes height wise!
