    I just use a regular zipper foot, it works with no problem for me. Some times I don’t get the stitches as close as I would like so I just stitch over the same area again closer. Every zipper has came out great too, over 15 dresses.

    I find the secret is to press the zipper open as flat as you can.

    This product http://oliverands.com/supplies/OLV-LCS00010.html will allow you to use a warmer iron and press it flatter.

    I use an invisible zipper foot that came with my Elna. I never iron them, I just sew them straight on and everyone has been perfect. I really like my invisible zipper foot as it is clear plastic and great for visibility.
