Not quite enough fabric

    To Liesl, or anyone who has seen this top in person: Could pattern piece #1 (Front Halter) be made from a different, but coordinating fabric? I have some fabric left over from another project, but not enough to do the entire halter. Since the print I have is on a white ground, I thought I might be able to do the ruffles in the leftover print & the underlying front halter piece with a solid white…do you think this would look OK?

    Absolutely!

    I made it here in different printed fabric. http://fiveandcounting-motherof5.blogspot.com.au/2011/02/ruffled-halter-top-its-free.html.

    It would look lovely and possibly not even be visible.
