I am planning on sewing the size 5 leggings. It calls for one (1) yard of fabric. Do you think it would be possible to make up to (2) pairs of leggings from the (1) yard of fabric?

It is possible, but would depend the width of your fabric and whether or not you are using fabric with a directional print. The pieces need to be cut as mirror images of themselves, so ideally you would cut with the fabric folded. Knit fabric is usually quite wide (which IMO makes it a bit wasteful when making little people clothes) – the best thing to do is lay your pieces out. You may find it would be best to buy 2 yds – which should allow you three pairs of leggings 🙂

Yes, I have done it. Just lay the pieces out and see where they will all fit before cutting.
