Hello, I would like to make this into a sweatshirt and lengthen the sleeves, and use a knit on the front and sleeves and a woven on the back. I’m not sure what pattern adjustments I will need to make, increase width at the front and back and a bit at the neck? Any tips and advice would be much appreciated!

I have seen this done quite successfully.

I think I would consider sizing up at least one size and move the centre back piece a 1/4 inch off the fold so the back has more ease.

Do try it on, over the child’s head before adding neck ribbing, just to make sure it fits.
